The Showtime Chronicles: No Way Out predictions |
 |
|
Once again welcome to, “The Showtime Chronicles”. I am your writer, “Showtime” Johnny Martin and this week is No Way Out which means…. I got No Way Out predictions to tell you all. As always, I will write a little something about the people in the match and than write my prediction for the match. No Way Out will be great so here are my predictions…. Shawn Michaels vs. JBL (All or Nothing match) Finally we get to see “HBK” Shawn Michaels vs. John Bradshaw Layfield in a match. I don’t know where WWE are going with this storyline but I am starting to like it more now since it is Shawn vs. Bradshaw. Shawn Michaels has been wrestling in WWE for a long time and he is a WWE Legend. JBL wanted to make this match all or nothing so he got it. At No Way Out if Shawn Michaels looses, JBL will own the Shawn Michaels name… Well I don’t know what WWE thought of this but seriously, if Shawn Michaels looses this match, WWE are seriously making the worst storyline. This storyline failed to impress me since it started so I hope at No Way Out it will impress me. As far as the winner of this match, Shawn Michaels will deliver a Switch Chin Music to JBL and get the win…. Winner: Shawn Michaels Jack Swagger© vs. Finlay (ECW Title Match) So Jack Swagger vs. Finaly… This match should be good. Jack Swagger is a great wrestler and I think that he is a great champion. Finlay on the other hand is also great and deserves a title win. Last week on ECW we saw the return of Christian to WWE and he stated that he will go after the ECW title. Jack Swagger is also mad at Hornswoggle and that might cost him the title this Sunday. Finlay has been wrestling since the WCW days and Finlay is great in the ring. I haven’t seen Finaly as a champion but I would want to see him win the ECW title…. Although I want Finaly to win, Jack Swagger will win after a Swagger Bomb to Finlay… Swagger will probably be the champion until Wrestlemania where he will be defeated by “Captain Charisma” Christian! Winner: Jack Swagger Randy Orton vs. Shane McMahon (No Holds Barred Match) So we got “The Legend Killer” vs. Shane O’Mac! Shane McMahon hasn’t wrestled since the McMahon’s vs. DX feud but this Sunday he should put on a great show… Randy Orton is a great wrestler and he is the Royal Rumble winner. At No Way Out, their match will be a No Holds Barred Match. Shane McMahon is great with weapons. From watching Shane McMahon fight in Extreme Matches, I think he is incredible in them. Shane McMahon has jumped from a titantron and he has injured himself a lot before. The Shane McMahon vs. Randy Orton storyline started two weeks ago which was one week after Orton kicked Vince McMahon’s head. Randy Orton is also great with weapons. Orton has defeated Mick Foley in a hardcore match before and has injured a lot of people during his time in Rated RKO. This match is becoming personal between Shane McMahon and Randy Orton… Oh yeah I forgot one thing… The Legacy (Ted DiBiase and Cody Rhodes) will sure be at No Way Out and I am sure they won’t let Randy Orton win the match. The Legacy will probably interfere in the match but maybe Shane McMahon will take them out. Shane McMahon is great with any weapons but he is the best at Singapore Canes and Garbage Canes. Shane McMahon has a chance of winning this match but Randy Orton has a bigger chance so I have to go with “The Legend Killer” on winning this match. The Legacy (Ted DiBiasee and Cody Rhodes) comes to the ring, Shane McMahon, and than a RKO from Randy Orton. This storyline will become bigger at No Way Out! Winner: Randy Orton John Cena© vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Kane vs. Mike Knox vs. Chris Jericho (Raw Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight Title) Ok I think this will be the worst Elimination Chamber ever! I could be wrong but I think I am right. Ok so once again John Cena is the champion in this match and he will have to defend his title in an Elimination Chamber match. Why I don’t like this match? Well, look at the people in it… I mean really now, Mike Knox? My predictions for this were something like John Cena vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Kane vs. Chris Jericho vs. Shawn Michaels or CM Punk. I don’t really think that Kofi Kingston should get a big push like this but hey once again, I could be wrong. Kane is a great wrestler and he hasn’t won a World Title in a long time. I think the last time he won a world title was in the WWF. John Cena on the other hand can’t stop winning. Personally, Raw is getting boring because of John Cena. My suggestion is to put him on ECW and bring Christian to Raw! John Cena is getting boring only because he is winning the title all the time. Rey Mysterio is great! It will be great to see a high-flyer like him in the Elimination Chamber. Chris Jericho has been in 2 or 3 other Elimination Chamber matches I think. “Y2J” Chris Jericho is a great wrestler and I think that he is great in Elimination Chamber matches. If WWE wants Mike Knox to be in this match they have to make him little better. Kofi Kinston is great but I don’t think he should be in this match. On the other hand, I think Kofi could do great in an Elimination Chamber match. So who’s going to win this match? Will we have a new World Heavyweight Champion? Who? Who is it? Well, the winner will be none other than John Cena!!! John Cena will probably be the champion until Wrestlemania and than loose it to Randy Orton or to someone else like Shawn Michaels! Well there you have it… John Cena will be the winner of the Raw Elimination Chamber! Winner: John Cena Edge© vs. Triple H vs. Jeff Hardy vs. The Undertaker vs. The Big Show vs. Vladimir Kozlov (Smackdown Elimination Chamber for The WWE Title) This will be THE BEST match of the night. So we got Jeff Hardy who will be extreme in this match, Triple H who has been in many Elimination Chamber Matches, The Undertaker who I believe is in his second Elimination Chamber, The Big Show who is a giant, Vladimir Kozlov who is a great wrestler, and last we got Edge the current WWE Champion. Edge is one of my favorite wrestlers. Edge can put on a great match that you can remember forever. Edge has been a champion over and over again but I don’t get bored watching him win all the time. Since The Big Show started his feud with The Undertaker I can see that he is much stronger and better than he was before he left WWE when he was on ECW. The Big Show is a giant and having him inside the Elimination Chamber match will sure mean something big is going to happen. Vladimir Kozlov has been unstoppable since his debut. His finisher is great and he is a great wrestler himself. I haven’t see Vladimir Kozlov in any extreme matches like The Elimination Chamber but I am sure that he will do great in it. Now let’s go to “The Game” Triple H. Triple H is a WWE Legend. As I mentioned before, Triple H has been in many Elimination Chamber matches. Every time Triple H steps foot inside The Elimination Chamber he puts on a great match and he makes history. Triple H is great and he has a big chance of becoming a WWE Champion this Sunday at No Way Out. Finally we go to Jeff Hardy. Jeff Hardy is incredible. Last year at No Way Out he was extreme. Jeff Hardy can use The Elimination Chamber really good. He can jump from the top doing a Swanton Bomb or anything and be extreme. Jeff Hardy lost the WWE Title at The Royal Rumble when Matt Hardy (his brother) hit him with a steel chair. The Hardy vs. Hardy or Brother vs. Brother Feud should be great but for now nothing is happening with it. This Sunday at No Way Out it will be Edge who will win the match and retain the WWE Title. This will be the order of the Eliminations. - Vladimir Kozlov
- The Big Show
- The Undertaker
- Triple H
- Jeff Hardy
Probably, Jeff Hardy will pin Triple H and eliminate him. When Jeff Hardy gets up, Edge will run and spear him getting the 3 count and retaining the WWE Title. Winner: Edge

SO after I beat you up in your English lets be bet you up in your ideas
Roflmao Chunga
and wow, you did nail most of em on the head, even saying HHH was going to win the WWE title, which I thought I was alone in.
He's basically filling in as the fallback guy on SD for when the bookers aren't really doing anything with the title, like Cena is with Raw, and nothing really looks to be going on with the title right now, especially with Edge doing whatever the hell Edge is doing lol

I think JBL will win, cause if HBK win its the over of the storyline, but if JBL wins, the storyline remains alive for Wrestlemania.

Isn't Kozlov still unpinned, if so.. this might be another great factor in this match, cause somebody has to do that or Kozlov will be the chump after the Chamber xP

First of all... who the hell in Finaly?? Second, sorry but I never saw a cane made of garbage. third, Learn to construct your text and stop repeating a wrestlers names on consecutive phrases "Edge can put on a great match that you can remember forever. Edge has been a champion over and over..." does this sound good to you? well sorry but not to me and i believe to allot of people. SO after I beat you up in your English lets be bet you up in your ideas: Dack thwager on Wrestlemania? OMG you can't be serious... he is a good wrestler? don't say no to that but... he his just crap on mic, if he need to represent to live he would be dead. He could be great at MMA not at wrestling. His presence at WM would be, in my opinion, an INSULT to allot of wrestlers, ones that manage to go to mania and others that didn't had the chance. Cena to ECW? sure, let's put the bigger merchandising name in WWE in their lesser show... does this sound a smart move? So in conclusion, AT LEAST... learn how to write, and read what you write... at least once ok? a decent write is what I expect from a article to start.

Personally, I am pulling for JBL to win and will try and pull strings for the rumoured HBK-Taker match at 'Mania with a similar stipulation or a huge pay incentive. Other then that, I agree with the rest of your predictions

I agree with Johnny... mostly. No doubt that Cena will win... like always. But Jack Swagger prolly loses to Finlay and Finlay goes to WM to lose the title for Christian. Then Orton vs Shane... The Legacy will interfere no doubt about that but still I belive that Shane will win it anyway.

What the real RAW E Chamber should be: -Chris Jericho -JBL -Shawn Micheals -John Cena -Kane -Rey Mysterio
No Knox simply for the fact his beard might get stuck in the cage walls and Kofi isn't ready. Apart from that everything stays as it is.
The SD E Chamber though looks great as it is and should be very entertaining. This Legacy vs McMahon thing I'm not sure about though. They should be collecting titles, causing mayhem not beating down their bosses. Though I'm good with Shane, he's great. Don't care bout SWAGGA vs Finlay cause I know the Human Kickstand will just get involved.

Dude no edge winning! Why because i hate him.Maybe jeff hardy will win. And raw elimination chamber is the most boring of them all. What is mike knox and kofi kingston doing there.Kofi is too young. It'll be good if jericho wins the title

Come on Mike Knox isn't "that" bad. Hell i actually quite like his finise, As for the beard, well it's certinally wierd, but whatever makes him happy. Hopefully this is knox's choice and not WWE forcing the long beard.
My predictions - JBL vs Shaun. JBL cloathslines shauns wife and wins via count out as shaun treats her
Swagger vs finley. - swagger. Give him some credibility
Shane vs Orton. Orton wins with help from stephanie McMahon. 4th member to the legacy
Raw elimination chamber - hmm. this is a toughie. I reckon cena will lose it to Kane. Kane was pissed with orton a couple of weeks ago. or maybe this is wishful thinking
Smackdown elimination chamber - Edge or Matt ftw. Matt hardy will replace jeff after jeff suffers an "accident" Leading onto a Brother vs brother title match at wrestlemania

I think for the RAW E Chamber Chris Jericho should win (Codebreakers Mike Knox's beard off)
For the SD E Chamber Jeff Hardy will win

Well we all know that Christian is gonna be a champ. Soon. So I doubt he will feud with Finlay over it since its face/face. So Swagga will retain and him and CC will keep feuding until Mania where Christian will take the title off of him. I look for Swagger to move to a better brand in the draft.

Cena will retain to face Ortan at Wrestlemania, as none of the others besides Jericho has a prayer of being World Champ at this time. So it will be Cena/Ortan at WM where most likely the McMahon's will get involved to make sure Ortan does not win the title there, but we will see.
SD chamber, my guess is Jeff Hardy to win to set up Hardy/Hardy at Wrestlemania for the title. Having both Hardys in a grudge match at WM is a gold ticket seat-seller on its own, add the title match and it becomes platinum. As for Undertaker, he will get pinned by Vlad to set up to face the undefeated Vladimir Koslov most likely at Wrestlemania to give more rep to there being a chance of losing 'the streak', so no Taker win in the chamber this time.
Women's title will most likely be Melina retaining due to Rosa and Santino interfering or distracting Beth. This will cause the Glamazon to finally be sick of having Rosa and Santino around and start the destruction of that teaming up as Beth will take on Rosa for payback.
Finlay/Swagger is a hard one to pick. I could see Finlay finally getting the ECW title off Swagger, but not sure if they think Finlay/Christian would be a better draw or not. It depends on if they are going to turn one of them heel or not. Otherwise Swagger will retain, but lose to Christian at WM, so he can be taken in the draft by Raw or SD, my guess being Raw as they need more heels at this time.
As for Shawn/JBL, I think it will probably end up a draw. Double count out, double DQ, whatever it takes to have it not settled here and push it to WM. Otherwise, Shawn wins hands down.
Ortan/Shane should be a decent match, with Legacy helping Ortan get the win. This will push Ortan up facing Cena at WM, but I think the McMahon's will get involved at WM to finally pay back 'the Viper' and cost him the WHC title at WM.

You hit it right on about Swagga/Finlay. I dont see either Christian or Fin turning heel after Christian's enormous pop on Tuesday. I dont think Finlay did as well as a heel and he is really over as a face so I doubt either will turn. Swagga retains at NWO but loses at WM to set up draft to Raw. I know I already said most of that but whatever.

My predictions:
JBL vs HBK: HBK wins. Ends with a Sweet Chin Music. Swagger vs Finlay: Swagger vs Cristian at WM 25. Orton vs Shane: Orton wins after a hell of a match. Raw elimination chamber:Win preference order: 1)Kane 2)Rey Mysterio 3)John Cena 4)Chris Jericho 5)Mike Knox 6)Kofi Kingston SD! Elimination Chamber: Win preference order: 1)Undertaker 2)Vladimir Koslov 3)Triple H 4)Edge 5)Jeff Hardy 6)Big Show

Perhaps you only know that because it's already happened, eh angelovski? Don't try pulling the wool over our eyes. We can see it says Monday, February 16, 2009 by your comment, the very day after No Way Out. I knew someone was going to do this. As for the results... I have to admit that your predictions were very similar to mine. The first match of the night, SmackDown's elimination chamber. We have the Big Show, Taker, Kozlov (who, personally I don't see the big deal about) and Trips all locked away. Then we have our former champion Jeff Hardy enter. Followed by his long time rival Edge. We see around 3 mins action, and then Edge goes in for the spear. He runs to Jeff Hardy who quickly rolls him up... 1... 2... Here you expect him to kick out... 3! What on Earth? The current WWE Champ Edge is eliminated?! Even I went silent at this point, but the look on Edge's face was hilarious! Just when you thought the night was as predictable as possible. After he leaves, we have the rest entering, and not alot happens except they all throw each other around the cell. Then we get Vlady Kozlov and Big Show eliminated. Followed by Jeff Hardy - which I found half surprizing as it came too soon. Then we have Trips vs Taker, which could've went either way. Trips hits the pedgree for a victory - the fans lesser of 2 choices. The next few matches were predictable, especially the Swagger vs. Finlay. I must just point out that I loved HBK's wife Rebecca's forearm smash to JBL, however should'nt HBK have been disqualified... Then we move on to RAW's e. chamber. As with many people, I was expecting a shockingly bad match-up, mainly due to Mike Knox. Once champ John Cena, Kane, Knox were all locked up, Kofi jogs down to the ring. He seemed to have the fans right behind him, until Edge comes out and attackes him. Edge them lockes himself in the last pod, being the Ultimate Oppertunist, entering himself in the RAW match-up. Jericho & Rey start the match. Kane enters and is eliminated by Rey from top of the pod jump. What a pathetic use of Kane's night. Then Knox comes out, and is eliminated, didn't ruin the match too much did you Knox? Not as much as you're ruining RAW anyway... Then Edge comes in and is battered by Rey. John Cena comes out and lifts up Edge for the "Attitude Adjustment" a.k.a the F.U! Jericho then hits Cena with the codebreaker followed up by the 619. I Didn't quite get why Rey helped eliminate his only back-up but he did. asif the codebreaker and 619 wern't enough for Cena, he then gets hit with a spear by Edge. Edge pins... 1... 2... expect John Cena's immortal kick-out... 3! What on Earth AGAIN? John sits up with a pissed off smile, and is eliminated. Edge is shocked, another pricless look on his face. Rey eliminated Jericho and then Rey beats on Edge. The fans were truly believing Rey was going to win, but it is past his time for that. Edge hits a spear after Rey gets pushed into the pod plastic. Edge picks up RAW's world title, obviously signalling that Either him or Trips is moving back to RAW in the draft, which is after wrestlemania. Overall an exciting PPV.
*On a side note: After taking a tombstone piledriver from Taker, Triple H put his foot on the ropes, signalling a rope break. However I thought that Elimination Chambers were no hold barred, meaning no rope breaks*

Jiss this Chunga guy is an idiot... How can you berate someone for their grammar errors and not reading their posts before clicking submit if YOU make grammar AND spelling mistakes? Also, sure. Jack Swagger doesn't have the best mic skills, but who in ECW has better (other than Christian)? Dude, you have issues. The author wrote a perfectly good article and made some good predictions. His text wasn't great, but he had good intentions. I would rather struggle through his text than try to swallow the bitter garbage you puke up... If you cant say anything nice, rather don't say anything at all. Care to comment on my reply...??
