Orton is an example of the worst of the wrestling industry. He got in by his name alone, and despite being a completely incompetant worker who uses the worst cutter in wrestling history (He doesn't even grab the guys head most of the time!). He's this decade's Sid Vicious, and the sooner he leaves wrestling the better.

I'll definitely agree that his cutter is terrible. I'm sure it makes DDP throw up every time he sees it.

I do though think you're being a little too rough on him. And that's no surprise, I'm sure you're one of the old-school wrestling fans like myself who isn't happy with anything less than a Bret Hart work ethic AND skill level. No, Orton's not a great ring technician, he's not a great worker. But he's over with the fans. And he's not completely incompetent as a worker, he's just... awkward. He's too green for the heights that he's risen to, of that there's no doubt. I mean, he was in OVW for a month, then pushed into Evolution.

Old-School?

Pretty hard to say I'm old school when I mark out for this guy:

And for your information, Keiji Mutoh is the god of techinical wrestling, not Bret Hart.

That right there is the damn truth.

Orton, I dunno, I've seen far worse main eventers.

Duly noted, but don't know where the "God" thing came from.

Anyways, the point being, I feel you're being too hard on Orton. That point seemed to be ignored in your reply.

How am I too hard on him? By expecting a main event talent to be talented? I mean, yes it's WWE, but that's no excuse. Heck, even Hogan could do a halfway decent match when he had to... granted, anyone looks good against Great Muta/Keiji Mutoh....

The problem with Orton is that he has been working with the same circle of guys the last couple of years. I can't even remember how many matches he have had with Triple H. They should consider making a storyline where he's "injured". They should then send him to FCW. Just to let him improve a bit. I know he's the sort of guy that needs years of training. (Even Bob wasn't that bad) But let's realize it: Besides Big Show, Shawn Michaels and Jericho. He's one of the only talented main event guys.

WWE is ****.

No, expecting a main event talent to be talented isn't what I'm talking about, but I see your skills of putting words in the mouth of someone who doesn't necessarily agree with you are razor-sharp.

"Orton is an example of the worst of the wrestling industry"
^^^ This is being too hard on him. The WORST of the industry? C'mon, the WORST? Not at all. There's worse workers on the RAW roster alone, much less the whole WWE; not to mention guys who are much less over with the fans, and much less profitable and popular (and no, what is popular is not always right, so don't even try to pull that tactic, but popularity DOES play a role in the industry, for better or worse). One of the main draws of watching RAW is to see just how bat-sh*t crazy/crazier he will get before he finally snaps and implodes completely. Denying that is just Ostriching a guy just because you personally don't like him.
